Impact resistant polystyrene (HIPS)
Promdesign Company had successfully started
production of extruded polystyrene (HIPS) sheets under the following brands:
- PromoPlast premium HIPS;
- PromoPlast Regrind HIPS;
- Multilayer HIPS.
The main goal for achievement
of this production is – high quality HIPS
sheets with favorable price that is manufactured in Ukraine.
Our production line
can produce HIPS sheets:
- Up to 2050mm wide;
- 0.8-6.0mm thick.

Description:
HIPS ( high impact polystyrene) – is a product of
copolymerization of styrene with butadiene and butadiene-styrene natural
rubber—material that has more impact benefits in comparison with standard
polystyrene. It is a rigid material in sheets of white or other colors with
glossy or matt finishing.
High technology of thermal and vacuum thermoforming
of sheets, absence of inner tension after thermoforming, good tearing
resistance, chemical resistance to acids and alkalis, food compatibility and
wide range of temperatures ( from –40 up to +70°С) and enhanced impact
resistance—all the mentioned factors make HIPS sheets to be a perfect polymer
for usage in different spheres of industries , construction and
advertising.
